1940s Lynn Patrick Granger Pipe Tobacco Die-Cut Advertisement Standee. Liggett & Myers produced a number of these large cardboard advertising pieces. This one features NY Rangers legend, Lynn Patrick (1934-1946), and was probably issued in the late 1930s to early 1940s. The colorful ad piece stands 46" tall and is still quite attractive, with a full easel back. There is some creasing in Patrick's hair and eyebrow that breaks color, the large and fragile die-cut loop of the "G" in "Granger" has broken free but is now held on by two pieces of clear tape on the reverse, and the end of the "R" in that same word is now gone. Even with the condition issues mentioned above, the rare piece still possesses incredible display value.
