1935 Tiny Thompson Original Newspaper Illustration by Tommy Vamplew from The Milt Schmidt Collection. A masterful work who's subject is the Bruins' future Hall of Fame goaltender, Tiny Thompson. "Boston's Hopeful by Tommy Vamplew" is packed with a superbly executed illustration with a dominating image of Tiny and the Stanley Cup, praise of the goalkeeper, and great expectations for the Bruins' 1935 season. "Tiny Thompson - The Boston Goalkeeper...The Bruins chances of winning the Stanley Cup this season depends a lot on Tiny's ability. Art Ross regards him as the greatest puck-blocker in the big time league." The mat and frame are vintage with dimensions of 18x25.5". Some light surface wear away form the artwork, otherwise very nice. Letter of provenance form Conrad Schmidt, the son of Milt Schmidt.
