    Description

1933-34 Montreal Canadiens C.C.M. Advertisement Broadside. Brilliant color, and terrific illustrations are detailed on this broadside issued by hockey equipment company, C.C.M.
Behind the leadership of Howie Morenz and head coach Newsy Lalonde, the 1933-34 Montreal Canadiens are featured on a stunning black and white team photo, which is prominently displayed in the center of this sturdy cardboard artifact. This piece measures at 14.5x21.5" and presents the words "Les Patins CCM Sont Champions Partout," on the top. The center photo exhibits medium wear, with moderate soiling, and a two-inch tear at the base. The large cardboard portion is extremely eye appealing, and has slight tearing at the edges, with a 1.5x3" piece that was cut from the bottom right corner. Overall condition of this museum-caliber lot is "conservatively" VG. According to Heritage hockey expert Bill Campbell, this example is the first of its kind ever offered publicly.
