    Description

1921-22 Herb Gardiner Signed WCHL Player's Contract. An intriguing sports memorabilia rarity, which will be sure to turn the heads of the most discerning hockey signature collectors, in addition to card enthusiasts with a special place in their hearts for the famed 1923-24 Paulin Chambers candy issue. Here we present Herb Gardiner's 1921-22 Western Canada Hockey League contract, which features a stunning signature from the Hall of Fame defenseman. Measuring at 8.5x14", this piece exhibits multiple folds throughout, while presenting moderate wear, but no major flaws. Also included is an 8x12" glossy photograph of the former Calgary Tigers WCHL player, turned NHLer, which aids in making this an unimprovable showpiece. Heritage hockey expert Bill Campbell, stresses the rarity of this contract, as it is the first he has ever seen from the early hockey league. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
