Description

John Tavares Game Worn, Signed Generals Helmet. The young up-and-coming hockey phenom, and the New York Islanders' first overall pick in the 2009 NHL Draft, John Tavares wore this helmet when he broke Wayne Gretzky's single-season Ontario Hockey League scoring record, while tallying a staggering 72 goals.

This helmet's interior is signed and inscribed "07-8 70,71,72 Goals Game Helmet" by Tavares, in 10/10 blue sharpie and includes the appropriate "Itech" clear plastic face guard. Heavy use is presented on this helmet, with team logo decals on both sides of the shell's exterior, and the "C.C.M." stamping on the front. Tavares' "91" decal is affixed to the rear exterior and the proper padding is located in the interior.

In addition, an 8x10" signed photo accompanies this helmet, with "72 Goals" inscribed in perfect ink. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
