Description
2002-03 Scott Niedermayer Game Worn Jersey. One of the most beloved Devils of all, Niedermayer represented the squad for the first dozen seasons of his NHL career, helping bring the Stanley Cup to New Jersey three times during his tenure. This nicely used sweater saw action during the third and final Stanley Cup season, one in which the star defenseman posted an impressive eighteen playoff points, his best NHL postseason numbers. A large team repair on the chest of this regular season gamer instantly draws the eye, located at the five o'clock position relating to the Devils logo patch at center. Stick and board marks are scattered throughout, particularly upon the sleeves. The alternate captain's letter "A" is applied in red and black tackle twill to upper left chest. Number "27" appears at each sleeve and verso, beneath "Niedermayer" sewn across rear nameplate. Size "54" flap tag is present at interior collar, and fight strap remains affixed to lower rear interior tail. A wonderful Championship season representation from a future Hall of Famer.
