Description

1984 Steve Yzerman Game Used & Signed Detroit Red Wings Rookie Hockey Stick. Steve Yzerman emerged as the Detroit Red Wings' franchise cornerstone in the 1980s, becoming captain in 1986. A dynamic scorer and playmaker, he revitalized the team, posting multiple 100-point seasons and setting the foundation for Detroit's future Stanley Cup success. Here we present an uncracked wood Titan stick that Yzerman used in 1984. Exhibiting great wear, it has his name stamped in black ink, and it is signed in bold blue sharpie. A date stamp of "Jan. 30 1984" is stamped on the lower shaft meaning it was used when Yzerman was a rookie. LOA from Perry Nelson. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
