    Description

1951 Parkhurst Gordie Howe #66 SGC 88 NM/MT 8. Graded 88 NM-MT 8 by SGC. A mere handful of examples have been graded higher by that firm. Dare we call this phenomenal copy "pack fresh?" Yes. It has just the slightest bits of fuzziness at two corner tips and the rest is really beyond compare. And all this accolade about the rookie card of Gordie Howe who has been anointed by many as the greatest hockey player of his or any era. The image of the young rookie is so close to being perfectly centered. The corner quality is superior and surfaces are clean and blemish free. Howe's rookie card is one of the top three hockey cards of the modern era and prized by many over a Gretzky or Orr rookie. We say go for all three. A tremendous addition to a hockey collection.
