Description

1937 V356 World Wide Gum Aurel Joliat #65 PSA EX-MT 6. Aurele Joliat was a 5'7" powerhouse who never backed away from an on-ice confrontation. His '22 Montreal arrival was "icy" at best as he was the compensation when fan favorite Newsy Lalonde went to Saskatoon. His remarkable skills instantly won him over with fans. When Joliat's career came an end (said, in part due to the death of Howie Morenz) his achievements were considerable. Joliat played for the first NHL First All-Star Team in 1931; He won the Hart (MVP) trophy in 1934; Graded PSA EX-MT 6. One of only two cards in EX-MT with four rated higher.
