Description

1933 Sport Kings Howie Morenz #24 PSA NM-MT 8 - Only Three Higher. Howie Morenz was one of the first major stars of professional hockey and one of the most dominant players to ever strap on the skates. It should come to the surprise of no one that the rookie card of Howie Morenz is one of the most treasured additions to a vintage hockey collection which is what we are offering here. He is as close to hockey royalty as there ever will be. His stellar career, untimely retirement and ultimate passing have elevated the man to legendary status. On November 3, 1937, the NHL organized an All-Star game to benefit the family of the late Morenz, who broke his leg during a game and later passed away from complications of the injury. He will forever and rightfully be remembered as one of the all-time greats. Graded PSA NM-MT 8. One of twelve graded NM-MT. with just three higher. Attention grabber with bold colors that enhance a crisp and precisely centered portrait. The surrounding frame a bright white. A remarkable example.
