Description

1924 V130 Maple Crispette Aurel Joliat #14 PSA VG 3. Aurele Joliat was a 5'7" powerhouse who never backed away from an on-ice confrontation. His '22 Montreal arrival was "icy" at best as he was the compensation when fan favorite Newsy Lalonde went to Saskatoon. His remarkable skills instantly won him over with fans. When Joliat's career came an end (said, in part due to the death of Howie Morenz) his achievements were considerable. Joliat played for the first NHL First All-Star Team in 1931; He won the Hart (MVP) trophy in 1934. Offered is his scarcely seen V130 Maple Crispette card from 1924. This example has been graded PSA VG 3 primarily due to modest corner tip wear and light creasing.
