Description

1912 C57 Imperial Lester Patrick #41. "The Silver Fox," Lester Patrick is widely recognized as the first defenseman to score a goal, and later earned great success as leader of the 1906 and 1907 Stanley Cup Champion Montreal Wanderers. He later became a high-priced free agent on the Renfrew Creamery Kings but lasted only one season. The squad he represents on this scarce 1912 C57 card are the Victoria Senators. From 1904 to 1927 he played for no less than ten teams. Poor condition.
