2005 Upper Deck Alexander Ovechkin (Young Guns) Rookie #443 BGS Gem Mint 9.5. Since being the 1st overall pick of the 2004 NHL Draft, Ovechkin has become the greatest modern goal scorer the league has seen. The Great Eight has won the the Maurice Richard Trophy a record 9 times, given annually to the NHL's leading goal scorer. For all of his goal scoring prowess, Ovechkin could never get over the hump of winning a Stanley Cup. This was true until the 2017-18 season, where he would lead the Capitals to the Stanley Cup over the Vegas Golden Knights and would win the Conn Smythe Trophy as MVP of the playoffs.
