1966 Topps Bobby Orr Rookie #35 PSA EX-MT 6. Quite possibly the most coveted hockey card in the entire universe of hockey cards is the 1966-67 Topps Bobby Orr rookie card. The Boston Bruins organization caught wind of his prodigious skill at the tender age of fourteen. An exceptional talent, Orr was ready for the big stage of the NHL by the time he was eighteen years old graced with superb speed, phenomenal stickhandling and out-of-this-world defensive prowess. Few who had seen him play would say that the Bruins were out of line when they made the teen the highest-paid player in NHL history for his rookie campaign. To say that he was good in his debut professional campaign would be a glaring understatement. The Calder Trophy (top rookie), a spot on the Second All-Star Team and second in scoring by defenseman are all rookie-year honors.
