Description
1981 Darryl Sittler Canada Cup Game Worn Jersey. With players like a very young Gretzky, Mike Bossy, Bryan Trottier and Guy Lafleur joining Sittler on the ice for this international tournament, Canada fielded perhaps the greatest Cup team of all time in 1981. This special red mesh sweater dates from the historic convergence of hockey legends, having seen action with Toronto Maple Leafs all-time leading scorer Sittler. "Canada" and maple leaf imagery is screened across the chest, with "Sittler 27" screened to verso. Each sleeve offers another number "27" and maple leaf design. "Sandow Sporting Knit" tagging in tail has handwritten size "48" notation. Fight strap in tail. Appropriate light wear. LOA from Lou Lampson.
