Description

1968 Topps Hockey Complete Set (132) - Presented As An Uncut Sheet. The 1968-69 Topps Hockey set is considered a landmark release because it marked Topps' return to producing NHL cards after a four-year absence, capturing a transformative period in the league's history. This set introduced vibrant team-colored borders and included players from all 12 franchises following the NHL's major 1967 expansion. With stars like Bobby Orr, Gordie Howe, and Phil Esposito featured during their prime, it reflects both the league's rapid growth and the emergence of modern hockey legends. The sheet presents with some wrinkling and creasing throughout with edge and corner wear. There is paper loss at the top left of the sheet that affects the Mikita card. Even with these imperfections, the sheets colors still pop and would look great framed and matted. Measures approx. 23" x 43".
