1961 York Peanut Butter Montreal Canadiens Premium Photos Lot of 19. Just before the 1961 Stanley Cup Playoffs, the York Peanut Butter Company released the first of their desirable premiums -- a double-barreled promotion that included 5x7" photos from the league's top two teams as well as a series of glass tumblers that also featured those same Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens. The entire collection of 19 photos featuring Montreal Canadiens is offered here, all remaining in exceptional presentational condition despite the years that have passed since their original issue. In exchange for peanut butter and salted nut chevron labels, Canadian fans could request these attractive photos, each of which includes the pictured player's facsimile autograph. Highlights here include Hall of Famers Bernie Geoffrion, Jean Beliveau, Henri Richard, Tom Johnson, Jacques Plante, and Doug Harvey. A tremendous find of this tough edition, complete in its inclusion of the Habs' players. An appealing grab for those looking to complete the set with the remaining 18 Maple Leaf photos.Auction Info
