More Information: Some history: The Flin Flon Bombers feature Hall of Famer Sid Abel and Stanley Cup coach Jimmie Skinner. The team was the dominating amatuer team in the 1930's. The Trail Smoke Eaters were Canadian champions who toured in Germany in 1938. We believe they are the last team to do so in Germany before Hitler took power. They were the World Amateuer Champions in 1939.
