Circa 1930 Bobby Jones Original Oversized Photograph by George Pietzcker. Extraordinary portrait photograph of the sport's noble hero finds Jones at the height of his powers, quite possibly during the year he became the first (and still only) man to claim golf's Grand Slam. The man on the other side of the camera is held in equal esteem among golf photographers--George Pietzcker, whose work rates with the most important and coveted in the pre-war game.

With America teetering on the edge of the Great Depression, the enormous dimensions (16x20") of this gorgeous photographic artwork are all the more impressive, as such a commanding print would have been particularly expensive to manufacture during this time. This example is quite literally flawless both in execution and preservation. Studio stamp appears at lower left. Museum-quality matting and framing measures to 27x31".
