1996 Sports Illustrated for Kids Tigers Woods #536 BGS Gem Mint 9.5. Woods turned pro in 1996 and won two PGA events that year, becoming the PGA Rookie of the Year. In the 1997 Masters, he shot a record 270 over 72 holes to finish 12 strokes ahead of the field. With another Masters win 2001, he became the first golfer to win the four major titles consecutively. Fast forward to 2019 when Woods won the Masters and this victory gave him 15 Major tournament wins, second only to Jack Nicklaus with 18. This illustrious Tiger Woods 1996 rookie card started off by slipping under the radar, since the extreme value of this rookie card only became apparent in more recent years. This card was part of nine sports cards included on one page. The attached cards could be made single by separating the perforations between them, a difficult maneuver usually resulted damaged cards, but in these case it did not. Of the over 800 submissions, this card ranks higher than 85.1% of the population. Graded BGS Gem Mint 9.5 with subgrades: Centering 10, Corners 9.5, Edges 9.5, Surface 9.
