Description
Circa 1910 Robert Maxwell Signed Photograph. Robert Maxwell was one of the finest amateurs of his day, winning the British Amateur title twice-in 1903 and 1909, both at Muirfield. This is a very handsome studio photo signed by Maxwell and quite possibly the only one to exist. His "Yours Very Truly, Robert Maxwell" fountain pen inscription rates an impressive 9/10, and the image itself also remains in splendid condition. Some wear to the mount is likely the result of an earlier framing and does nothing to detract from the central focus. Image is sized 6 x 8, with mount extending the final dimensions to 8 x 10.
