Description
Circa 1910 Arnaud Massy Signed Photograph. Frenchman Arnaud Massy competed in a total of 21 British Open Championships and despite the competition of The Great Triumvirate, he broke through to win the 1907 Open at Hoylake. He is still today the only Frenchman to win one of golf's major championships. This item is an a very fine rare original photo that Massy has signed on the reverse with his club affiliation. Ink and notation are rendered in 10/10 black ink. Photo measures 2.75 x 4 with scrapbook corners still affixed, otherwise NRMT. LOA from Mark Emerson.
