1969 Ryder Cup Souvenir Original Photo Scrapbook from The Sam Snead Collection. Upon conclusion of the 1969 Ryder Cup Golf Matches at Royal Birkdale, the US Ryder Cup Committee produced a photo scrapbook of the whole journey. The scrapbook begins with a White House send-off and has 32 pages of photos. Most are 3x4" in size and it is a true special souvenir of the matches. There is one 8x10" photo of the US team outside the White House signed by Richard Nixon and the last page of the album has a summary of the matches, famously tied at 16-16. Measuring about 11x12" and bearing San Snead's name in gold on the cover, this is a special and unique Ryder Cup collectible. Letter of provenance from Jack Snead.Auction Info
