1967 Sam Snead's "Favorite" Custom Made Driver from The Sam Snead Collection. This custom made driver was crafted for Sam Snead in 1967 and remained a favorite of his for many years until a slight crack in the heel retired it from play. The club features an extremely handsome light brown head, a yellow insert with four black diamonds and a small silver sole plate with the number 4300. The club also has a heavy application of lead tape applied to the back of the head. The driver appears to still have the original whipping and original steel shaft but has been re-gripped with a Golf Pride Victory grip. This beautiful driver is arguably one of Sam Snead's most significant clubs from his career. Letter of provenance from Jack Snead.Auction Info
