Description

1966 US Open (Golf) Multi-Signed Program. The Lake Course of the Olympic Club of San Francisco played host to the sixty-sixth edition of this Grand Slam event, with Billy Casper erasing a seven-stroke deficit in the final nine holes to tie the great Arnold Palmer, then go on to defeat him in the eighteen-hole playoff. One fan tracked down several of the biggest stars on hand for the tournament, coming away with autographs on the first interior page from Palmer, Nicklaus, Hogan and several others. Some water damage affects bottom of cover and several internal pages, including signed page, though the most important autographs are spared. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
