    1950 Sterling Silver Cigarette Box From Jack Burke, Jr. Founded in 1922 in White Plains, New York, Metropolis Country Club was home to Jack Burke, Jr. as the host professional from 1948 to 1950. Upon his departure, the club honored him with this fine Sterling cigarette box. It measures 3 1/2 X 3 1/2 X 1 1/2" and is inscribed on the top "President Pro Westchester P.G.A. 1950." Maker and hallmarks on the bottom.
