1947 Masters Tournament Souvenir Scrapbook Presented to Ellsworth Vines. Ellsworth Vines's amazing two sport career is unique in American sports. After turning golf professional in 1942, the height of his professional golf career probably occurred when he was invited to play in the 1947 Masters Tournament at the Augusta National Golf Club. Vines turned in quite a performance, tying for 24th place. Upon conclusion of the 1947 Masters, all participants were provided with the Tournament's "Official" scrapbook of the event. This beautiful book is bound with a crimson leather cover stamped in gold with the Augusta National Gold Club logo and Ellsworth Vines's name. The scrapbook is fifteen pages in length and contains twenty original photos, a 1947 Masters Guest List and a list of past Masters winners. Marvelous condition.
