Description

1946 Masters Badge, Third Round. With victory secured in Europe and Japan, and the livestock cleared from the fairways and greens, it was time to get back to the serious business of top level golf. This brown octagonal badge allowed entry for one lucky fan on Saturday April 6th, as 1940 PGA Championship winner Herman Keiser edged closer to his ultimate victory this year. Almost imperceptible dots of paper loss on verso are so minor as to overstate their effect by a mention. Otherwise the badge presents as NRMT, with original string.
