Description

1945 Byron Nelson Program, Photograph, Ticket, Scorecard & Signatures. 1945 was a record-setting year for "Lord" Byron Nelson. He won 18 tournaments, including 11 in a row, and his second and last PGA Championship. This tournament was held at Moraine Country Club in Dayton, Ohio, and he defeated Sammy Byrd in the final round, by a margin of 4&3. Included in the grouping of items from this event is an Official Program, an original 8x10 photo of Bryon holding the PGA Trophy after his victory, an original autographed 3x5 card, a Clubhouse Pass/Ticket for the event, and an original Scorecard from this 1945 PGA Tournament, signed on the inside by Sammy Byrd, the runner-up. This is a great historical package. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
