Description

1942 Masters Badge. A household name here in Heritage Auction Galleries' hometown of Dallas, Texas due to the annual tournament bearing his name in nearby Las Colinas, Byron Nelson was the victor in this last Masters before the Second World War necessitated a three-year hiatus while cattle and turkeys were raised on the Augusta National grounds. The octagonal badge presents magnificently, with the front offering a NRMT appearance and the slightest bit of paper loss on verso causing no concern. Original string attached.
