    Description

1941 The Masters Final Round Spectator's Badge with Pairings Sheet. After second place finishes in both the 1933 British Open and 1934 PGA Championship, Craig Wood finally overcame his jinx this year, claiming victory both in this Masters tournament, and in the PGA Championship later in 1941. Wood led wire to wire at Augusta, so surely every fan that could was following him as he marched steadily to a three-stroke victory over Byron Nelson. The presented badge remains in splendid condition after seven decades of storage, with original string still affixed. The lot also includes "Parings and Starting Time" sheet for the same day.
