1962 Doug Sanders Oklahoma City Open Invitational Winner's Gold Medal. Career PGA Tour victory number eleven for this red hot golfer who had claimed his tenth win just a week earlier at the St. Paul Open. Presented for his victory in the Sooner State is this gleaming medal, featuring the logo of the PGA at obverse and engraved with the details of the win: "Oklahoma City Open Inv., 1962 Scores 70-69-74-67-280." Verso is stamped "14K" and engraved, "Winner, Oklahoma City Open, Doug Sanders." Measures one and a half inches in diameter. Fine condition. Family letter of provenance.
