1959 Doug Sanders Coral Gables Open Winner's Gold Medal. Just the third PGA Tour victory in the decorated career of Doug Sanders, who bested American Dow Finsterwald to take the win, the same man who remarkably finished as runner-up in Sanders' first and second Tour wins as well. Presented for his victory in the Southern Florida sun was this impressive memento, featuring the logo of the PGA at obverse and engraved with the details of the win: "Coral Gables Open, 1959 Scores 68-71-69-65-273." Verso is stamped "14K" and engraved, "Winner, Coral Gables Open, Doug Sanders." Measures one and a half inches in diameter. Fine condition. Family letter of provenance.Auction Info
