    1947 Ryder Cup Player Badge From The Sam Snead Collection. This beautiful player badge was issued to Sam Snead by Robert Hudson, a Portland, Oregon businessman who initiated the resumption of the Ryder Cup Matches after World War II. The front of the badge reads as follows: "Sam Snead American Player 1947 Ryder Cup" and on the obverse it says: " From Robert A. Hudson Portland, Oregon." The badge measures 1 1/2" in diameter and is in outstanding condition. Letter of provenance from Jack Snead.
