Description

2000 Tiger Woods Signed Personal Scorecards From Win at Memorial Lot of 4 with PGA Provenance. As a youngster Tiger Woods kept a picture of Jack Nicklaus on his bedroom wall. The ultimate goal for Woods since he first stepped onto the links was to beat Nicklaus all-time majors record. Located in Dublin, Ohio, The Memorial Golf Tournament was founded by Nicklaus - Woods' hero. How fitting it was that Tiger tore apart the competition in 2000 and cruised to a nineteen-under par to pace the field. In doing so, Woods became the first golfer to successfully defend his title at the event held annually at the Muirfield Village Golf Club. With direct provenance from the PGA is this collection of four scorecards, each signed perfectly by Woods in pencil. The attending letter of provenance is signed by Kirsten Sabia representing PGA Tour Official Auctions. The four cards are mounted to a wood base which proclaims: "2000 Champion Tiger Woods Total Score: 269 (-19 Under)." The final round scorecard is signed by Steve Lowery while Ernie Els signed the Saturday tourney card. While occasionally a Woods signed scorecard surfaces, this is the first complete tourney run we have encountered. Letter of provenance from PGA. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
