Description
1942 Sam Snead Handwritten Signed Letter. Just a month after Sam Snead's first major championship triumph at the 1942 PGA Championship, he entered the service and wrote this whimsical letter on United States Navy stationery. He concludes, "The Navy is great. I like it. They certainly have some fine men here. It's time for chow, so, so long for now." Dated July 5, 1942, this outstanding example is laid down on another page but still displays a fine vintage Sam Snead signature and contains wonderful content.
