    Description

Simplex model putter with torpedo-shaped wood head patented by F. W. Brewster. This unusual looking club has a narrow brass sole, small oval lead bottom weight, oval "Simplex" stamp on the head, and built-up leather wrap grip. Circa 1900. The grip may be a 1912 vintage replacement and the stamp is a little hard to read, otherwise very good +.
