    Description

    "The Spalding" Cran cleek manufactured in 1897 by A. G. Spalding & Co. in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Patented in 1897 by James Cran of Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, this unusual club has a hollow steel head with wooden insert. Other features include line scoring on the face, stamped "The Spalding" shaft, and russet grip. A cornerstone club in any American patent club collection. Slight wear to grip, otherwise outstanding.
