    Description

Uncommon smooth face cleek manufactured by Carrick in Musselburgh, Scotland. Impressed into the back of the head is the well-known block printed "Carrick X" stamp. The head is long and shallow; the hosel has deep nicking; the shaft is hickory; the grip is a wrapped russet. Carrick and John Gray were two of the earliest iron makers to stamp their names on the back of their clubs. Most of the stamp has worn from off from numerous cleanings, and there is one inch missing from the bottom of the grip. Circa 1870. Fair to good.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
