    Description

Uncommon hand-forged J. Milne model putter. Unusual oval steel shaft, oval steel hosel, line scoring, and leather wrap grip, manufactured by J. Winton of Montrose. The head and shaft have good patina. The leather grip appears to be a design of a former owner. The leather is not tightly wound as one normally sees, having gaps filled with under listing at every turn. Good +.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
