Uncommon pear-shaped O'Hara Dial stein with pewter lid, thumb rest and porcelain inset. Hand painted in the O'Hara green and white, this turn-of-the-century collectible depicts a golfer in jacket, cap and plus fours at the top of his right handed back swing. O'Hara Dial, maker of fine porcelain clock and watch dials, was based in Waltham, Massachusetts. Stamped on the base is the green O'Hara Dial fleur de lis-shaped mark. Circa 1898. 6"h. Paint on handle doesn't appear original, and there is a spider crack in the porcelain inset, otherwise very good.
