1925-40 Bobby Jones Single Signed Golf Ball--Finest Known! Leading golf collectibles expert Mark Emerson assigns a possible fifteen-year range for the application of this stunningly bold black fountain pen signature to a "Kro-Flite" brand golf ball, a period that saw Jones build his reputation as the greatest figure in the sport with his fabled 1930 Grand Slam and the founding of Augusta National. While any autograph from this noble gentleman of the links is rightly cherished by the collecting community, his appearance on a golf ball is considered the pinnacle of the form. This is unquestionably the finest such specimen on Earth, a bona fide 10/10 despite a surface hardly conducive to autographs.
