    Circa 1929 Joyce Wethered Signed Photograph. Joyce Wethered is arguably the greatest female golfer in the history of Great Britain, winning the English Ladies title five years running starting in 1920. Her match against Glenna Collett at St. Andrews in 1929 is still regarded as one of the finest ladies golf events of all time. Scarce signed photo dates to 1929 according to original paper caption on verso, and blue ink signature at upper left retains an 8/10 boldness. Photo presents as NRMT, 6 x 8. LOA from Mark Emerson.
