    Description

1965 Tony Lema Signed Letter to Henry Cotton. This is a simply charming letter from 1964 Open Champion Tony Lema to three-time Open Champion Sir Henry Cotton. Dated December 15, 1965 and written on his personal stationery, this is a most tender correspondence. Sadly, the next Open would be Tony's last as he was tragically killed on July 24, 1966. Closing "Tony" signature is rendered in 10/10 blue ink, and page is likewise NRMT with original mailing folds. LOA from Mark Emerson. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

    Guide Value or Estimate: $800 - $1,200.
