1960 Bobby Jones Signed Book. One of the great sportsmen of the twentieth century, Jones once dismissed plaudits rendered to him for taking a penalty stroke for an infraction during the US Open which nobody else had witnessed with the statement, "You may as well praise a man for not robbing a bank." Here he inscribes a fine copy of his hardcover Golf Is My Game to a fan, penning "For Dale Curtis, With best wishes, Robert T. Jones, Jr." His black ballpoint ink registers at a splendid 9+/10. Below is a second inscription from the gentleman who acquired the inscription for his friend. The rare original dust jacket exhibits moderate wear but otherwise there are no condition flaws worthy of note. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
