1958 Bobby Jones Signed Letter. "I am delighted with the picture," the Golden Age golf legend writes to his friend. "I am saddened by the thought that I look like that, but Jean assures me that I do." While a mention of the photo's impressive color suggests that the image framed to the left of Jones' personal letterhead is not the one being discussed, it is a wonderful image nonetheless, finding the 1930 Grand Slam winner in a bit of a pickle on the links. Jones signs the single typed page with a familiar "Bob," registering in 9/10 blue ink. The page exhibits some light, inconsequential toning and is matted and framed with the aforementioned photo to final dimensions of 18x22". Letter of provenance from Jean Marshall family. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
