1952 All American Open Winner's Trophy Cup Presented to Sam Snead. The Tam O'Shanter Country Club in Niles, Illinois served as the home of this PGA Tour event during its seventeen years of existence, its earliest editions dominated by Byron Nelson, Bobby Locke and Lloyd Mangrum, who claimed eight of the first eleven tournaments before Snead finally broke through in 1952. Presented is the victor's hardware earned by Snead for his sixty-sixth PGA Tour win, a diminutive but elegantly crafted little silver cup dating to the year of his second Masters Tournament Championship.

A raised image of the clubhouse is framed by engraved text at obverse that reads, "Tam O'Shanter Country Club, Chicago," with the balance of text announcing, "The All American Men's Professional Golf Tournament 1952, Winner." Stamped on the base is the word, "Sterling." Cup measures three inches in height, and 2.75" inches in diameter. Light tarnishing could be easily remedied if desired, and the important relic otherwise exhibits only light handling wear. Letter of provenance from Jack Snead.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
