    Description

1950's Ben Hogan Signed Photograph. Ben Hogan's record of nine major championship wins tells only a part of his story. Stardom came very slowly to this Texas caddie boy and his dominating play was nearly ended for good with a terrible auto accident. But he resurrected his body to win again, and in 1953, played only six tournaments, winning five, including the Masters, US and British Opens. This is quite possibly the finest 8 X 10 signed Hogan item ever offered--an original unpublished photo by PGA photographer Jimmie Dodd, so stamped on the reverse, signed with a perfect 10/10 signature. Photo is NRMT. LOA from Mark Emerson. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
