    Description

1949 Bobby Jones Signed Letters Lot of 2. 1949 Bobby Jones Signed Letters Lot of 2. Herbert Warren Wind, the esteemed golf journalist for The New Yorker, and later Sports Illustrated, once wrote of Bobby Jones, "In the opinion of many people, of all the great athletes, Jones came the closest to being what we call a great man." Certainly one of the most educated and accomplished of all sporting legends, Jones mailed this pair of letters typed upon his law firm's letterhead in the early half of 1949. Each regards the representation of a Vermont bottling company, and is signed at the closes with a familiar "Bob." Both autographs rate a perfect 10/10, and the letters are likewise free of any flaws beyond original mailing folds. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
