Description

1930's Horton Smith Signed Photograph. Horton Smith will always be remembered as the winner of the very first Masters Tournament in 1934. He was a very strong player, competing on the US Ryder Cup teams of 1929-1931-1933-1935 and 1937 and also winning the Masters again in 1936. He was the longtime host pro at Detroit Golf Club and President of the PGA of America from 1952 to 1954. This is an outstanding 8 X 10 studio photo of Peter Fish that Smith has signed impeccably. Photo itself has vertical bend in the sky above Horton and some corner wear, but nothing that infringes upon the central focus. LOA from Mark Emerson. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
